End of Term 2 Review

What was your 3 favourite things you did this Term?
My favourite thing I did this term would have to be when I got my Report because I found out that I did really well and that my Dad was really proud of me. Another favourite thing was when I did cross country and I did over 20  places better than I did last year. And finally my number one thing that I did was being able to keep my work levels up and keep my socialising down when It came to class time. I chose this as my number one because I used to get told off a lot because I was not focussing but now I am doing well with getting on with my work.

What was your 2 least favourite thing this Term?
It would have to be when I was always the one that was put up on the board for not being focussed in class and always talking. In my defence it was not just me who always talked because I had people that would talk to me some of the time. I will not lie thought I did do it some of the time to. Another time was when I could not make friends that easily. That went on for about 2 days where I only had three friends. I think that was because I did not know how to start a conversation or people just thought I was weird.

Maths:
In Maths this Term we have been learning all about graphs and plots and al kind of new thing related to statistics. I really like making graphs and collecting the data because I like to collect data and then convert the data into a graph or something that shows all my working. We also started this new thing called Maintenance. Maintenance is where you have 10-15 minutes to do questions off a sheet that Miss Campbell sent to us. The sheets normally have working that comes under the number strand which is things like +,-,= etc.

Tech:
Tech is where you go to different classes to learn different thing for example; Hard-tech, Soft-tech, Music, Science etc. This time around I did Music. For Music we got to learn cords on the Piano, Ukelele and Guitar. My personal favourite was Piano because of the fact that I like to press buttons and
create different sounds. I also like the piano because I can pair up withs friend and one can play Guitar and one plays Ukelele while I play Piano.

P.E:
In P.E this Term we have do a whole different variety of different sports, but my favourite is dodge ball because I get to throw a ball at someone which somehow  makes me happy. I also like soccer because I am good at kicking very far and I like to be goalie because your team relies on you to defend the goal. The sport I do not like on the other hand is the rock climbing wall because I do not like to relie on a flimsy machine to hold me up in the air.

Case of the long hair

A year 12 boy named Lucan Battison was suspended from his school because he refused to cut his hair which his principal wanted him to do. Lucan's family challenged the school and took it to the hight court in Wellington New Zealand. The judge decided to go in Lucan's favour and Lucan is now aloud to continue to go to school with his long hair, plus the school had to pay his court cost. In my opinion I think that the principal was very wrong because why would you stop somebody from learning due to the fact that a boy has long hair. It does not matter if a boy has long hair as long as they are learning, I mean I would understand if he got suspended because he platted his hair or did something like that with his hair while it was time to learn.
